January 2017 Beauty Favourites
I can’t remember the last time I did a monthly favourites post – some time back in the Summer I think. For the first month of 2017, I figured I might as well, but I don’t know if I see myself doing it continuously. Personally, I love reading what everyone loves each month, but I find that my favourites posts don’t get as much traffic as I would expect. So you all feel free to let me know in the comments if you’d like me to continue regularly or perhaps just keep it sporadic every few months? Either way, here’s what I found myself loving during January 2017!

JANUARY 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES
ANASTASIA MODERN RENAISSANCE PALETTEÂ
• Sephora • Ulta • Cult Beauty •
This was love at first use. My gorgeous friend Katie gifted it to me for Christmas after I hummed and hawed over buying it for months. Turns out reds and rusty tones are actually super easy to wear and make my eyes look super green. Every time I wear this, someone asks what it is!
CHANEL COCO CODES BLUSH HARMONY*
{limited edition} • Nordstrom • Chanel • {read my review}
Before I even tried this I saw people raving about it online and I just didn’t get the big deal. Here’s the thing though, each shade in this quadrant makes it special. When swirled together you get such a gorgeous luminous flush to the cheeks.
MAKE UP FOR EVER EXCESSIVE LASH MASCARA*
• Sephora • Debenhams • {read my review}
I wrote an entire dedicated post on this, so you probably all know I’ve been loving it. The more I wear it, the more I enjoy it. Super black lashes that keep the curl I put in my lashes and doesn’t flake through the day makes it a total winner!
MAC PRO LONGWEAR CONCEALER
• MAC • Hudson’s Bay •
This is a longtime love for me that I recently reacquainted myself with in January. It gives me the coverage I need, doesn’t crease and comes in a wicked amount of shades for everyone.
MAC STROBE CREAM*
• MAC • Hudson’s Bay • {read my review}
The original glow-getter! I love how hydrating this is, and how incredible it looks under more matte foundations. Strobe Cream now comes in several hues, but I have the original which is now referred to as Pinklite.
URBAN DECAY QUICK FIX HYDRA-CHARGED COMPLEXION PREP PRIMING SPRAY*
• Sephora • Urban Decay • Ulta •
Urban Decay just relaunched several of their facial sprays, along with a few new and this is one of them. It faintly smells of coconut water, mists out super evenly and gives a nice tact to my skin that my base clings to really well. my makeup does seem to apply smoother than when I don’t use a primer, and looks fresh longer!
L’OREAL INFALLIBLE PAINTS FOR LIPS*Â
• Amazon • Ulta • {read my review}
If you’re rebelling against the matte lip trend, you’ll probably love these! The shade Spicy Blush has been my jam this month; It’s the perfect warm pinky nude.
DIOR LIP SUGAR SCRUB*
• Sephora • Escentual • {read my review}
A sugar scrub in a stick that leaves a soft pink tint to the lips. It doesn’t get any more complicated than that! This is perfect for on the go smoothing, especially in between reapplying lip colour!
