As a busy toddler mom (seriously, have you ever tried to cook a nice meal with a tiny human running around!?) I love that I can take the guesswork out of dinner time; HelloFresh is such a fabulous option for when life is really busy like back to school, back to work, post-vacation or just any time you need a helping hand. It saves my sanity when I get the dreaded, “what’s for dinner tonight?” text!

The ingredients come portion sized to the number of people you’re feeding, and requiring some simple prepping. I’ve not tried cooking a meal yet that I found more hassle than it was worth, and pretty much everything has had dinner on the table in 45 minutes of less. Don’t worry if you’re not the most confident chef, none of the meals are complicated or requires special equipment!

Also, in case you wondered about keeping ingredients fresh while in transport, each box is insulated, with meat/poultry on ice. The meals come individually bagged so there’s no confusion if some of similar ingredients. Even if your box sits at your door all day long while you’re at work, the box will still be fresh when you get home!

I loved that there was a mix of unique and traditional options for us. I was sceptical about nectarines in a sandwich and it 100% was the standout meal for me! I love how balanced the meals are when it comes to veg and carbs so it takes the balancing act out of meal planning.

In the past, when we’ve ordered HelloFresh boxes before, we’ve tried Thai Coconut Curry Mussels (this was SO good), Korean Pork with Green Beans and Rice, Hunter Chicken with Leaks and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Cheesy Black Pepper Tortellini… just to name a few!
