5 Easy Beginner Friendly Instant Pot Recipes
WHO WANTS TO TURN THEIR OVEN ON WHEN THE HEAT HITS?
I sure as heck don’t. Vancouver living means small square footage and things get toasty real fast. Buying an Instant Pot last year is still one of the best purchases I’ve made when it comes to easy meals in a fraction of the time they’d normally take. Whole rotisserie chicken in 18 minutes? No problem. Decadent mac and cheese in 5 minutes? Yes please! I get that pressure cookers can be super intimidating though, which is why I’ve compiled 5 easy, beginner-friendly recipes that my own family adores.
It should be mentioned that there are loads of electric pressure cookers on the market these days. I have the Instant Pot 7 in 1 6qrt, but it comes in other sizes and models. You can pick up Instant Pots on Amazon/Amazon Canada, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond and Bed Bath & Beyond Canada.
I love that my Instant Pot not only cuts down on cooking time, but it saves energy, dishes and keeps me away from slaving over the stove. Of course, this means more time chasing after my toddler!
