5 Mascaras I Can Always Count On
You guys know me. My love for mascara knows very little bounds. I jokingly like to refer to my eyelashes as my ‘money makers’ and I am by far most critical of mascara as a beauty product. I want volume, length, separation, flake and smudge free formulas that hold a curl. I told you, I’m high maintenance! While I love to try new products, here are five mascara formulas that I know I can count on.

Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash Mascara
Available at Sephora
I know I don’t need to go on and on about this one, I’ve raved till the cows come home. It’s all in the skinny brush that gets every single lash. For definition and curl, this is my top choice.

Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara
Available at Beautylish | Charlotte Tilbury |
Want the softest, fluffiest lashes of life? Then you need this guy. If you want to fool people into thinking you got lash extensions, this is my pick.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
I’m still a bit shocked that I like this one, given I don’t normally love rubberized wands. It really does grip the lashes well though and get right into corners. This is my top pick for length.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara
Available at Sephora
Think lush, voluminous, sultry black lashes. This is the mascara that gets people asking “are those real?” and my top pick for when I want all the volume and drama.

MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash
I’ve been wearing this mascara for years… on my lower lashes! It’s got the skinniest brush and grabs every single one. More so, its a tubing formula that is water resistant without being a right pain to get off. Some may say it’s high maintenance to have a mascara just for lower lashes, but when you have watery eyes like I do, it’s a must!
What are your favourite mascaras that you know you can always trust to perform?
Full fat lashes is amazing & so much better that legendary lashes from CT 🙂 So far my fav is from YSL faux cill & I love They’re real from Benefit
It IS so much better than Legendary Lashes (which never seems to dry on me even though I love the effect). They’re Real hates me, I’ve tried to love it so many times but it wilts my lashes.
I think that the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir is my all-time favorite mascara!! I need to repurchase it – maybe it will be in a Black Friday sale somewhere!
