April 2016 Beauty Favourites
Last month I skipped my monthly favourites, simply because I let time get away from me and life happened. This time round though I have some definite favourites I’ve been loving all April that I wanted to share with you all! Keep reading to find out which products made the cut…
I was lucky enough to work with Aveeno in March, and they sent me the new version of their Skin Relief Hand Cream that is unscented. I really struggle with hand creams feeling sticky or greasy, and this sinks in super fast and doesn’t leave greasy hand cream finger prints on my keyboard (please tell me I am not the only one who struggles with this!?) {Read my Review here}
Clarins has a whole shed load of tanning products in their range, and the Milky Lotion is the latest to be added. It gives a super subtle soft glow of colour, but what I love most about it is the scent! It’s made with fig extract and smells so yummy – no nasty fake tan smell here!
One of my first ever blog posts was about this fragrance a few years back now when it was launched in the summer collection. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the 2016 bottle and besides the gorgeous ombre sunset motif, it smells just as I remember it: like summer evenings spent at the beach as the tide rolled in and the sun went down. I absolutely adore it.
If you’ve been following me on instagram or snapchat you’ll know I rediscovered my love for this recently. It gives incredible length and really holds the curl in my otherwise stick straight lashes. {Read my Review here}
Tell me why it took me so long to try out this bronzer? It’s got the best balance of warmth and coolness that you can get a nice sculpted look to the face and bronze at the same time! Plus the box is super cute, no?
I’ve recently become a massive fan of the Hourglass powders after previously and openly doubting their hype, and the blush in Diffused Heat has quickly become one of my all time favourites! It adds such a gorgeous pop of coral to my cheeks that really looks lovely with a bit of self tanner or bronzer.
I know it seems high maintenance to have two mascara favourites in a month, but it’s how I roll folks. While the other offers more in way of length, the Velvet Noir gives the loveliest fluttery, soft, voluminous lashes. {Read my Review here}
