Swoon Worthy Products with Pretty Packaging

Urban Decay Naked Smoky, Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow,Marc Jacobs Lipsticks, Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel, Dior Diorshow Fusion Mono

While we all know it’s what’s inside that counts, occasionally a beauty product will sweep me off my feet a bit when it comes to their packaging. While some tend to fall for cute and kitschy, others might like bright and campy, I am all about sleek and chic. So here’s a handful of products that had me at first glance, but also have amazing quality on the inside (where it really does count the most)

Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette– I feel like this is the most sleek out of the Naked range from Urban Decay. The smoky tinted palette with gorgeous metallic lettering matches the sophisticated selection of shadows inside. The mirror spans the full lid, it has a nicely weighted feel to it, and has a solid magnetic closure, whilst all staying relatively compact and slim.

Dior Diorshow Fusion Mono Shadows  – These gorgeous shadows were an instant hit with me, but their glass jar with signature Dior monogrammed lid make them feel every penny’s worth the price. The shadows inside are a bouncy-like creamy texture that set powder and come in some gorgeously refined shimmering tones.

Marc Jacobs Lipsticks– Sleek, black with simple detailing and a magnetic closure that gives that satisfying ‘snap’ when you pop the lid back on that just sounds luxury (because at the price, they are). This really is the lipstick that can go with you to a formal event just as easily as tossed in your handbag, and the shade selection and formulas are wonderful.

Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel – An absolute cult classic! The signature monogram, sleek black lid and frosted plastic jar just scream Chanel. Besides looking stunning on a vanity, inside its a gorgeous cream bronzer that has a silky smooth feel and lasts for absolute ages.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow– This might be my favourite of everything mentioned, because this is a true vanity show piece. In true Charlotte style, this is fashioned to fit the Art Deco theme of her line, in a gorgeous rose gold palette with equally beautiful and finely milled powder sculpting and highlighting powders inside. It’s an eye catcher that has everyone going, “ohhh, what is that?”
