FEBRUARY 2017 MAKEUP & SKINCARE FAVOURITES
Tarte’s Maneater* & Don’t Forget Your Day Dream Palettes
I know you’re all probably sick of me droning on about these lately, but both of these little Tarte palettes are ace. Perfectly balanced in terms of light-dark, matte-shimmer, compact size and a great full sized mirror. They’re worth the hype, hands down!
MAC Caitlyn Jenner Rock It Lipstick* and Malibu Bronze Shadow*
This collab is yet another collection that totally blew me out of the water. The lipstick is the perfect your-lips-but-nude(r) and the shadow is a stunning reddened bronze that makes my eyes look hella green. I’m tres sad that they are both limited edition and undoubtedly sold out in shops. They’re still online so run, don’t walk folks!
Dior NudeAir Luminizer Powder in 001*
I’ve reached for this pearly beige highlighter more than any other (and I own a sickening number of highlighters people!). It simply goes with everything, sitting neither cool nor too warm on my light/medium skin tone.
Live Botanical Oceania Coconut + Bergamot Body Cream*
This stuff smells insanely good like tart limes (and surprisingly not like coconut nor bergamot), so citrus lovers take note! The texture is like a solid balm that instantly turns to oil once warmed up and I’ve been coating my arms and legs in it during the snowy cold snap that hit last month. It’s simply divine and full of sustainable, green ingredients!
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
I stumbled upon this at my local Sephora and took a chance and damn, is it nice! It smells a bit little candy but I don’t find it offensive. The texture is this gorgeous cushion feel on the lips and it actually sticks around all night long!
Pixi Skintreats Peel & Polish*
I was lucky enough to be invited to the Pixi Beauty launch event here in Vancouver in February and came home with this scrub/mask hybrid in my swag bag. You can smooth it on and leave for a bit them remove like a treatment mask, or uses as 2-3 time weekly scrub. Let me tell you, this stuff SCRUBS. Dry flaky patches be gone; If you ever complained about a facial scrub feeling like nothing, this is for you!

OMG I need those Tarte palettes, but I don’t see them available on Sephora yet – well their app at least, since their website is still down (>.>). I’ll definitely be getting that Diorskin Luminizer Powder at the Bay with my $20 off coupon, so purchase justified, lol.
The Tarte palettes are exclusive to Tarte.com so you won’t see them at Sephora unfortunately! Sephora is up and running you might just have to clear your cache (I had to to make it work)
I hadn’t even heard of those Tarte palettes but they look great! I’ll have to try out that Pixi scrub as well.
