I‘ve been on a bit of a drugstore beauty buying binge lately friends. You all know I tend to lean towards luxury and high-end cosmetics for various reasons, but who doesn’t love finding a diamond in the rough? Few things are as satisfying as finding a product that performs incredibly well at under $20! Here are some drugstore beauty products I’ve been loving lately…

Current Drugstore Beauty Favourites
Pixi Rose Flash Balm* – The brand calls this an ‘Instant Skin Booster’ and I would have to agree! It primes my skin for makeup, gives a little extra moisture and smells divine too!
Maybelline SuperStay Full Coverage Foundation – I raved about this here and nothing has changed! My biggest pro to this foundation is that it does not transfer at all. I spend my day kissing my 4-month-old and attempting to snuggle her and I cringed every time I saw some of my foundations rub off on her onesies…
Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Neutralizer – I had originally tried this cult classic years ago and was unimpressed due to how pink it ran. This time around I tried the neutralizer which is yellow based and now I get the hype! The texture is thin and smooth, the coverage is great and it lasts all day!
Essence All About Matt! Waterproof Fixing Compact Powder – This was a total surprise love for me! I’ve tried the original and felt it was so-so, but the waterproof is so silky and smooth on the skin! It makes my pores disappear and sets my makeup all day long. I know you’re going to ask if the effect is waterproof. While I didn’t go swimming with my makeup on, I can tell you it definitely stands up to the ugly cry test.
Milani Eyeshadow Primer – Previously, the only eye primer that I felt was worth besides cream shadows was this one. While the Milani isn’t quite as bulletproof as that, it’s pretty damn good and much better than most of the high-end ones I’ve tried.
Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink – These baked blushes have a super pretty sheen to them and buff into the skin beautifully. I find blush is the product drugstore brands fail at the most. These are totally worth the hyped up cult status though! The shade Dolce Pink is a gorgeous warm golden pink that works with pretty much every look I’ve tried it with.
