On The List | Beauty Products On My Radar in 2018 Vol 1

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]ew year, new beauty products to lust after! I feel like the days of brands releasing seasonal collections a couple times a year are over. These days, we’re spoiled with new launches frequently and sporadically. While not great for my wallet, definitely make the beauty world a little more interesting! Here’s what’s on my first wishlist of 2018:

Bobbi Brown is topping the list with 4 products that I am eager to try. The Skin Long Wear Weightless Foundation boasts 16 hours of wear with a natural and multidimensional matte finish with medium to full coverage. In the glow department, Illuminating Moisture Balm comes in 3 shades and Highlighting Powder in Opal straight up just looks stunning, doesn’t it? There are also new shades of the Extra Lip Tint, and you all know how much I love anything moisturizing on the lips!

Tarte and Dior each have 2 new products I’m dying to try. Tarte’s Park Avenue Princess Bronzer & Contour Palette has six shades of contouring, sculpting and highlighting powders and I already know the formula is ace. The new Chrome Paint Shadow Pots have been getting a lot of attention online, and the swatches instantly had me in love. Also love at first sight is the new Dior Nude Air Luminizer Holographic Powders (in two shades) – I’m a big fan of the original formula. Dior also has a new foundation that is water-based, full coverage and claims 24-hour wear called Forever Undercover – sounds amazing, no?

 

If you aren’t sick of warm shadow palettes yet, the Kat Von D Metal Matte Mini Palette has a gorgeous mix of shimmers and matte powders. It’s limited edition though, so grab it fast if it strikes your fancy! Another product on the radar for me if you aren’t bored of the never ended highlighting powder releases is the Too Faced Diamond Light Multi-Use Highlighter. This powder has a multi-dimensional shift of blue pink and yellow and I’ve so curious to see how it performs on the skin!

Lastly, a new offering in the haircare world that sounds right up my alley; Living Proof Restore Smooth Blowout Concentrate promises heat protection up to 450 degrees! I don’t have thick hair sadly (far from it!) but my ends are so dried out as a lovely leftover from pregnancy. I’m keen to try anything that has a smoothing property to it!
