Charlotte Tilbury Does it Again! | Eyes to Mesmerize Eyeshadows

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize shadows in Norma Jean, Bette, Marie Antoinette, Mona Lisa

I might be at the point where I wonder if she can do wrong when it comes to the cosmetic world (besides the fact that she openly sleeps with her makeup on!), but the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize have knocked it out of the park earning another hit for the makeup marvel.
I recently got my hands on some of these little pots of self proclaimed ‘long lasting easy colour’ to put them to the test, and I was not disappointed…

The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize cream shadows are housed in a chic little frosted glass jar with 0.24oz of product (MAC Paint Pots have 0.17oz for reference). The formula is a really unique, water-infused, hydrating, whipped mousse like texture that has a cooling effect when applied, and glides on so effortlessly with no tug or drag. It’s this texture that allows these shadows to be patted on with a finger or blended out with a brush so easily, and can be layered on top of each other to give you a look that can vary from sheer to opaque.

The wear on these are what I would expect from Charlotte; They stick around until I choose to take them off. Unlike many cream shadows, these don’t crease on me, nor do they flake off or blend out to nothing. The pigmentation in these is lovely, and they really hold on to their colour, even if you are blended out with a finger – so many cream shadows just leave a trail of sparkle behind with no colour and that just isn’t the case with the Eyes to Mesmerize. These offer such a smooth looking shimmer or pearly effect that just brightens and opens up the eyes, which I have no doubt was Charlotte’s goal when creating them. In fact, on CharlotteTilbury.com, you can watch videos on each shade to see how she creates different looks just with one single shade!
I’ve got four shades: Bette* (a golden brass), Norma Jean* (a pale champagne that flashes pink and gold), Mona Lisa* (a bronzey plum) and Marie Antoinette  (a bronzey taupe) and all of them work beautifully on their own, or with each other, and because they apply so smoothly powder shadows blend over them like a dream! There are two other shades in the range currently, Veruschka (a golden olive green) and Cleopatra (and intense mermaid teal), but I am really hoping Charlotte continues to add a few more shades; I’d love to see an orchid purple and a true coppery rose gold added into the range!
Have you tried the Eyes to Mesmerize cream shadows yet? What’s your favourite Charlotte Tilbury product?
