  • Favourites | The Best in Beauty for May 2015

may 2015 monthly favourites, mac perky, clinique melon pop, diorskin nude bb creme, mac coral bliss lipstick, real techniques sculpting brush, colourpop la la
Yeah, yeah, you know what time it is… the end of the month, thus equalling this post where I collect all my favourite beauty bits from the last month and share them with you all. Coincidentally this is also my favourite time of the month for all the other beauty blogs that post their favourites. Because shopping.

This months favourites is a good mix of new and old favourites. DiorSkin Nude BB Creme made another appearance as my favourite light weight easy base. Something about this when the weather gets warmed just makes me love it… when it tends to get ignored in the cooler months.
In the new category the Real Techniques Sculpting Brush, which has become my new love for patting out concealer under the eyes and on top of the cheekbones for a bit of highlight. The stiffer yet super soft synthetic bristles do all the work for you – love that.
Also new to me this month was ColourPop Cosmetics, with the standout being the shadow La La – a gorgeous coppery bronze with hint of rose gold. Green eyed girls, you need this!
Peach has been my shade of choice recently (see post coming later this week with an all peach monochrome look!) and I’ve been loving it on eyes, cheeks and lips. For eyes, Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Perky is a long time favourite. I’ve been pairing it with another Mac product – the lipstick in Coral Bliss with is always a summer favourite, and a newer release by Clinique on the cheeks: Cheek Pop Blush in Melon Pop.
What were your favourite beauty products this month?
