Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Brown(out) is a darker more golden bronze chocolate versus my other lover, Ro(cocoa) which is leans a bit more coppery brown and is slightly lighter. As per usual, this lasts all day, glides on like butter and the subtle glimmer really perks up the colour of my eyes. Shimmer fall down doesn’t happen with these either, so I’d say they are a-ok for contact lens wearers.
Another thing I should mention – I normally don’t love twist up mechanical eyeliners, because they always seem dull. While this does come with a little sharpener in the cap, I don’t think I’ve ever even used it, because the formula is so smooth I can just use the corner of the tip to get a thin line, or hold it more of an 90 degree angle for a smudgier line. Total win for me, with my only gripes being that there aren’t more colours in the range, and that the black doesn’t set to a matte finish.
Have you tried the Highliner Eye Crayons? What is your favourite shade? What was the last thing you bought after trying a sample or a mini?
